Ertuğrul Çakır
Born in Bremen in 1976, the artist graduated from Gazi University’s Department of Art Education. He has participated in international art fairs and biennials, while also curating several projects. Drawing inspiration from the symbolic world of playing cards, his works explore concepts of balance and contrast, blending cinema and comic book culture with both traditional and modern elements to create a compelling visual narrative.
Atila Çakır, born in 1976 in Bremen, is a ceramic artist. He graduated top of his class from Hacettepe University’s Department of Ceramics and later completed his master’s degree there. His works have been exhibited both nationally and internationally and are part of notable collections. Known for his minimalist style, Çakır creates unique bird and animal forms using the traditional Japanese Raku firing technique.
